Brittany #3: Free Spirit…

And here is the third (and not the last :p) post about my little holiday in Brittany! I did a little break of this series of “Brittany” articles when I published Salvation yesterday, but I truly needed to write everything I had in my heart down… I’m not saying I am at my very best now, but it nonetheless helped me even a bit get better :)!

But let’s come back to Brittany… This new photo post revolves around the “free spirit” theme, as in my opinion, the photos here below quite inspire calmness and freedom! Some of them show the beautiful and pretty cosy-looking church of Perros-Guirec as well as its surroundings.

My weekend in Haute-Savoie: DAY #2 – leaving Talloires & heading to Annecy

Hey there my lovely ones! I hope you’re well today and ready to go through LOTS of photos ’cause here I am, back with the second post about my weekend in Haute-Savoie!

On the saturday, we left Talloires quite early in the morning after a very yummy & healthy breakfast and after taking some  pictures next to the lake… before we could head to the lovely town that is Annecy!

Annecy is so amazingly pretty with all its flowers and its at-the-same-time German, French and Italian influences (well, that’s quite logical when you know you’re not far from Switzerland :p!)! The old part of the town is such a lovely place to spend a weekend and do some traditional or also original shopping! I can only & highly recommend this place!!!!

With this, I wish you a lovely and (you’ll see) pretty flowery wander through the port of Talloires and then through Annecy… without forgetting to…

Pink Praline Cake

A very yummy recipe on the blog today… a pink praline cake! Once again, I made this delicious cake & took the photos yesterday with the greatest pleasure! I must admit that I really like doing it… it takes time but as the result’s here, it’s definitely worth it, isn’t it?!

But let’s talk seriously, here’s the recipe!

Ingredients 

• 150g of flour
• 120g of caster sugar
• 150g of slightly melted butter
• 1 pinch of salt
• 3 eggs
• 1/2 baking powder bag 
• 100g of pink pralines 
• 50g of ground almonds 

Directions

1. Mix the slightly melted butter with the caster sugar. Add the 3 eggs one by one and mix well once you’ve added one. Then, add the flour and the baking powder to the mixture.
2. Put the pink pralines and the almonds in the previous mixture.
3. Pour into a loaf tin and bake for about 30 minutes at 180°.
4. READY! You can enjoy your lukewarm cake 😉 … and don’t forget to wrap it otherwise so that it keeps its ‘softness’.

InstaMagic #3

Woooo! I’m so happy to finally release the July InstaMagic!

So many things have happened this month, it’s just crazy!!! The barely unbearable heat, the lovely souvenirs from England that sometimes made me pretty nostalgic, the reunion with my beloved horse as well as with some of my French friends I’ve been soooo happy to see again, the French national day with the beautiful fireworks, the farniente life next to the swimming pool… well in short, SUMMERTIME instants!

I hope you’ll be delighted to share this month’s memories with me :p !!!
