Just in case some of you are going to spend this weekend or their holiday in Paris (like I will probably do ^^), here’s my favourite addresses to brunch :p! It doesn’t matter who you are, you will, without any doubt, find a place that looks like you among this little selection ;p!
I don’t want to make you wait any longer, so here’s my little bunch of salons de thé & Co. 🙂
Here we go then…
* For those who like being near the fire with a lovely british cup of tea & a very yummy scone or for those who haven’t really got over this never-ending cold period…
Le Quincampe is for you (76 rue Quincampoix 75004)…
* For the very VERY greedy ones, who like to try a bit (or not just a bit ^^) of everything, who (in a word) are slightly like Gargantua and could literally eat everything they’re suggested :p…
Le Brunch du Zaganin is made for you (81 rue de Rochechouart)…
* To the most lazy of you all, you’re gonna love this concept: a home brunch, a brunch brought straight to your place! Isn’t that what you’ve always waited for?!…
Well, Sophie la Parisienne offers you this great opportunity…
So today I wanna share with you some gorgeous photos, taken by Eleonore Bridge for the advert of Nina, the divine perfume by Nina Ricci <3.
I truly LOVE this perfume… I think it quite reflects who I am (at least I hope so ^^)! It’s sweet, fresh and fruity: a very springy & summery perfume… and it is also a very feminine scent! I JUST L.O.V.E. it!!! **
Nina is a new modern fairytale fragrance aimed at younger audience. Nina is an elegant floral-fruity gourmand fragrance, the scent of candied fruits. The composition starts sparkly and spontaneous, just like a carefree laughter with the fresh citrus notes of lemon and lime. The sweet gourmand heart is juicy and caramelly due to candied apple, praline note and vanilla whose opulent veil wraps the softly sweet peony and the Moonflower. Finally the apple tree, white cedar and balmy musk notes are touching your skin with their warm and soft sensuality.
Today I want to take you to Paris, but I particularly want to take someone over there. This person (who created Jamie Ward’s Fan Page on Twitter) has just turned 15 today, so it’d be kind of my birthday present. And who could be a better guide than a French ‘demoiselle‘? I mean, even if you’re not Parisian, you are French! and try to find a French person who’s never been to Paris? I personally don’t know anyone in that case, but if that kind of persons ‘exists’, well… SHAME ON YOU!!!
Consequently, so as to help this young British ‘demoiselle‘ to plan her little trip to Paris, I decided to share, through this blogpost, all my must-dos, must-sees & my diverse crushes in Paris ;)!
First, I’m going to give you all my favorite sights … It may seem (and actually it is) a bit touristy, but you can’t miss the following sightseeings (THERE’S NO WAY!!!)
Our beautiful reigning Lady, I’m obviously talking about the Eiffel Tower…
Then if you want to have an old good “green time” & some fresh air, a little walk in the 14th arrondissement, in the lovely Jardin du Luxembourg (where, by the way, Cosette & Marius were supposed to have met #LesMisérables) or in the Parc Monceau will definitely make your day!
I’m just gonna add a few places, which have been suggested by Amélie, a friend of mine; The Place de la Madeleine (“one of the most Parisian place in Paris” she wrote), Place Vendôme,the Catacombs (“if you don’t fear the ghosts of the French Revolution” she made notice ^^ By the way, I L.O.V.E. that comment Amélie!) and the old house of Nicolas Flamel (“one of the oldest house of the town, which today hosts a great restaurant!” she eventually declared) (51 rue de Montmorency, 3ème arrondissement)
As far as I’m concerned, my two very favorite places to be in Paris are, without any doubt, the Pont des Arts (where lovers are used to hooking padlocks on the bridge – I am definitely a romantic person, so this is (to me) a not-to-miss!!!! And my dear little British girl, if there’s a guy out there, who makes your heart beat, and if you wanna leave a part of you in Paris… well, there’s nothing else for it but to buy a lovely padlock ;)!) & the very stunning Montmartre!
Furthermore, I would like to add two must-dos, at least two things I really fancy doing when I’m in Paris… The first thing is the traditional little cruise on a ‘bateau-mouche’ on the Seine (which is a river boat), where you can enjoy DELICIOUS dishes, and the second one is the unmissable ‘rendez-vous’ 52 rue de L’Université (75007 Paris), where you can get a perfume made-to-measure (it’s really cool!!!! LOVE it :D!)
Now, the second part of this post is more related to foodies (and VERY Yummy foodies, please!)… Mmmm! I can already see you drooling over!!! You’ll especially find here all my good addresses (in a word, my favorite ones :p!)
Let’s start with the section I like to call “Lunch & Brunch” (it also include “Dinner” but the other two rhyme! :D)
The very stylish Maxim’s…(3 rue Royale, 75008 Paris)
If you want to taste the very delicate French flavors, there’s nowhere else to go but to Le Dauphin…(131 Avenue Parmentier, 75011 Paris). It may be a bit expensive, but it’s DEFINITELY worth it! Trust me!

And if you feel like having a pizza because you’re fed up with French food (which I truly doubt – and no, I’m not chauvinistic when I say that!), you can eat very good pizzas (if not the best in Paris, but this is only my humble opinion :p) at Pink Flamingo Pizza…(105 rue Vieille du Temple, 75003 Paris)
And at last, I’ll finish that post with the best places to have the so precious British TEA TIME!!! (I’m an addict as well, so no offense ;)!)
Well first, you’ve got the very renowned French macaroons maker, Ladurée, where you’ll undoubtedly enjoy the most refined macaroons (or should I say ‘macarons‘?! but not only ;)!)…(21 rue Bonaparte, 75006 Paris)
And here it is (at least, I think :)!) I hope you, guys, enjoyed this post & I particularly hope that it will be useful to my little British girl, who (I’m sure) will enjoy Paris 😉
Now, before I leave you with this, I just want to say what I’m used to say…
Keep holding on to what you love & enjoy the ride of life 😉
xoxo (or maybe, for once, should I say… Bisous Bisous)
PS: When you’re in Paris, my lovely one (or my sweet British girl, as I’ve called you all along that post), don’t mind the taxi drivers (everybody knows they’re quite rude ^^, unless you’re lucky and you’ll get one a bit nicer than the others… but don’t be pessimistic if it doesn’t happen, I’ve never had a ‘sweet’ Parisian taxi driver neither :p!) But most of all, ENJOY!!!!
Hello there, I promised you the other day I would write to you on Sunday, so… here it is! I published a Press-minute a few days ago to allow you to ask me whatever you wanted, but I didn’t get any questions, so I was a bit surprised to see that you weren’t more curious than that (even if I can understand you don’t want to be indiscrete or anything, but this is something I suggested so I’m DEFINNITELY ready to answer your questions ;)!), but I’m not in a rush at all, so I’m still waiting for you to write to me 😉 x
Today’s post is dedicated to YOU, my lovely readers ;)! Indeed, I would like to thank all of you SO MUCH for reading my articles, following the blog, liking the posts, sharing them and coming more and more numerous over here. I don’t know if you can imagine how joy-overwhelmed I am! This is really crazy! I mean, I started writing about three months ago and now, you’re more than 100 WordPress followers and I’m not even counting all the people, who follow me on the diverse social networks.
I’m so glad to read all your very kind comments and to see that you like what I write. It really means a lot to me, so… thank you for that (once again!)!
“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.”
