And here we are, at the nice local market of Perros-Guirec!!! I must admit I almost begged my dad to take me there, because I knew I could take some great shots (and by the way, I hope you’ll agree on that point ;)!).
This market has all it takes to be a perfect local market! There, we found EVERYTHING from the very traditional stripped jerseys to the local alimentary products, whether they are cheeses, vegetables or even the so very yummy sweet things such as the unavoidable ‘milk jam’!!! 😉
With all these new photos, I hope I would have made you wanna go there for your next holiday, but meanwhile you can still drool over all these nice little things 😉
Oh my gosh! Time flies so quickly! I’m turning 19 today and I almost feel like I turned 18 yesterday whereas it was… well, a year ago :p! I must say that it’s quite a weird thing to think that it’s actually my last “teen” year, before the “big” 20, but that’s alright, that’s just the way things are supposed to happen, isn’t i?! ^^
And I don’t know about you, but every year, for every single birthday, I’ve got kind of a flashback of all these past years that makes me realise how lucky I am! Because even though it’s true to say that my family can’t really be granted this beautiful word that is “a family”, I feel extremely lucky when I think of my friends… whether they are the good old friends I’ve known like… forever or the ones I’ve met more recently! They’re all so very important to me, they are people as sweet as honey who managed to leave some of their sticky sweetness in my life, but above all… in my heart ❤!
I wish I could have spent this B-day with both English and French friends, so I’m not dedicating this post to myself (though it’s my birthday), but to these amazing people… all of them, whether they are British, French, Dutch or Australian! They all mean so much to me and they all have such a big part of my heart, that I honestly don’t really care where I’ll spend my birthday, because I know that whether it’s here or there, they’re in my heart… so wherever I might celebrate turning a year older, they’ll be with me and this is all that TRULY matters!
So here’s to them! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! ❤❤❤
With this, let’s…
Keep holding on to what and who we love & enjoy the ride of life 😉
So that’s this last friday we arrived in Talloires (in HauteSavoie) with my dad and brother! We stayed in a lovely little cottage that is situated right next to the lake of Annecy! And you can see it by yourself, but we were not really to be felt sorry for… The surroundings are absolutely breathtaking, everything was so beautiful around our hotel it almost seemed unreal!!!
You’ll see through these pictures how amazing this typical landscape is, and you’ll also discover our rooms as well as our first dinner at the restaurant of the cottage!
Wishing a nice little tour,
Keep holding on to what you love & enjoy the ride of life 😉
And don’t forget to watch out for my tomorrow’s post about my second day in this gorgeous region!
A very yummy recipe on the blog today… a pink praline cake! Once again, I made this delicious cake & took the photos yesterday with the greatest pleasure! I must admit that I really like doing it… it takes time but as the result’s here, it’s definitely worth it, isn’t it?!
But let’s talk seriously, here’s the recipe!
Ingredients
150g of flour
120g of caster sugar
150g of slightly melted butter
1 pinch of salt
3 eggs
1/2 baking powder bag
100g of pink pralines
50g of ground almonds
Directions
Mix the slightly melted butter with the caster sugar. Add the 3 eggs one by one and mix well once you’ve added one. Then, add the flour and the baking powder to the mixture.
Put the pink pralines and the almonds in the previous mixture.
Pour into a loaf tin and bake for about 30 minutes at 180°.
READY! You can enjoy your lukewarm cake 😉 … and don’t forget to wrap it otherwise so that it keeps its ‘softness’.
Enjoy baking! But first, savour these delicious photos !!!
With this,
Keep holding on to what you love & enjoy the ride of life 😉
