FLASHBACK # Boarding School

Boarding School…(because I can’t say “boring” school, not really appropriate)

You may wonder why I’m talking about boarding school… like NOW! Well, let me explain… For the past three years, I’ve been living in a boarding school. And let’s be clear right now, I didn’t like it AT ALL!!! I hated packing my stuff every week, I hated the stupid rules, the disgusting food and the common showers, which were in short A NIGHTMARE !!!!

BUT (because there is a “but”, there is always a “but”!) I have shared my room with two really great girls! But they were not just “two great girls”, because the three of us formed a kind of a little family. I truly viewed them (and I still do) as my two big sisters (yeah, I know… I was the youngest, a few months younger, but the youngest anyway!) And they really made everything easier at the boarding school… We laughed… A LOT (I can’t even tell you how many times we got really mad!!!!), but there were also tougher moments, and in those moments we were here for each other. That’s what friends are for anyway, right?

I think that what’s great about it… is that the girls & I deeply know that we’ve found friends for life. I know it’s a cliché, “FRIENDS FOR A LIFETIME”!!! But, you know what? The first year there, we were told that we would make friends for life at the boarding school… and of course, I was so sad & depressed that I didn’t believe a single word of what they said. BUT THEY WERE ACTUALLY RIGHT!

And for the first time this year, the girls & I were separated because we just went our own ways. So it was the end of the late whispers in the evenings, the end of our memorable giggles, in fact the end of boarding school (not that “boring” now, uh?). I’ve never thought that I would say this one day, but I think I miss boarding school but above all, I miss the way we were (the girls & I).

I’m sure a lot of people will find themselves in this article, and if you don’t… don’t worry, it’s just a matter of time! 😉

Keep holding on to what you love & enjoy the ride of life 😉

xoxo
